This is a blog about an Arizona girl and the adventures she has with her Quarter Horse, Phoenix.

 I ride English and Western and compete in 4h and FFA.  I have had my 14.2hh horse for a year in February and have worked really hard at helping my crazy 7 year old mare find something she loves to do and start training her.  We have competed in barrel racing, pole bending, rodeo queen competitions, reining, jumping, and 4h.  I might now be the best rider and Phoenix may not be the most well behaved horse but we make a great pair and I know we can accomplish anything we set out to do with hard work and patience.
